Things to Smile About

In order to help me figure out what keeps me happy this is a list of a few things that make me smile...
Some things will be left out for reasons known to myself if you want know why ask me.


1. Mandolins
This is the mandolin I have most recently fell in love with and hopefully it will be mine sooner than later. This makes me smile!

2. My best friend

Honestly without this incredible friend I might not know what a smile is. I am commonly known to look at the negative side of situations. He calls me out on it and I am forever thankful. I could spend hours and hours explaining how amazing this kid is, but I only need four words.

YOU ARE FREAKING AWESOME!!

3. Sam Bush

If this picture doesn't make you smile there is something wrong with you! This man is my idol because his heart goes into every note he plays which is what I strive to do every time I touch my mandolin.

Cause this is easier

So I'm starting this blog not for you and not for her but for myself. The main reason I made this choice is because it is much easier to keep track of a single computer screen than the letters that are slowly growing throughout my room. I have never blogged before but I just need space to explode these thoughts that are crowding my head. The white underneath my words is somewhat endless so I think I made the right choice. I can not wait to see how this helps me and if I ever get a follower I apologize, remember this is for me and not for you, it is easier that way.

I have recently lost the one I love and am completely to blame. Often times when an easier, more comfortable route presents its self I tend to take it. Well this weekend marked the start of a new me, for I took the responsible paths and did what was needed not what was easy. Everyday will be another test to the new me, but thats the way it should be! I am proud to say I kept my promises to myself as best I could this week even under duress, stress and other "esses" I can not think of at this time. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is unknown... Whatever is in store for me I promise to do my best even if it is not easy.
